Join staff of the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy for a special tour of the proposed Elberta Dunes South Natural Area located right within the Village of Elberta. Elberta Dunes South is a 58 acre property that boast a ¼ mile of sandy shoreline. The hike will take about 1 ½ hours. Hikers will be treated to a one-of-a-kind, spectacular 360 degree view of the Betsie Valley and the Lake MI coastline. The hiking route varies from walking on flat grass to a moderate incline on sand. Wear walking shoes.
Meet at Elberta Dunes South, located on M-22, almost across from 1st street. Look for Regional Conservancy event signs. For more information, phone the Conservancy office at 231-929-7911.
